Job summary

Central York School District seeks a full-time Technology Specialist to provide district-wide technical support for Apple devices and related peripherals. You will assist students, teachers, and staff with troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring security and backups are in place.

The role requires a technology degree or 1-3 years of experience, advanced technical training, and Apple certification. On-site work at Sinking Spring Elementary offers opportunities to impact the learning

Qualifications

Possess a minimum of 2 year degree in a technology field, or 1-3 years' experience in related technology support functions.
Advanced training in technical support.
Maintain Apple certification.

Responsibilities

Install, test and configure computer hardware and software.
Work with users to establish adequate controls for physical security and backup.
Perform troubleshooting, repair and upgrade of Apple hardware (iPads, computers, monitors, etc.) and related peripherals (printers, scanners, cameras, projectors, etc.).
Coordinate repairs with service providers for warranty and out-of-warranty work.
Research and price shop for hardware, software and computer-related purchase of replacement parts.
Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records at building(s).
Maintain all computers and printers for assigned building(s) per District procedures.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
