Job summary

Allentown School District is seeking a Computer Technician to serve as a technical resource for installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of school district computer workstations and peripherals.

The role requires hands-on Windows/Mac/iOS experience, Active Directory, TCP/IP networking, and at least two years in a similar academic IT environment. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or comparable experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows 7, Mac OS 10.6, and latest iOS.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and educational software packages.
• Experience in a Windows-based environment with Active Directory in TCP/IP networks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workstation operability and network connectivity.
• Install, configure and maintain user workstations and software.
• Perform problem determination and resolution for workstations.
• Maintain warranties and licenses for workstations and software.
• Maintain inventory of workstations and peripherals.
