GovCIO is seeking a Technical Product Manager to oversee the full SDLC for assigned products, focusing on a low-code/no-code Appian platform. This remote position is based in the United States with a strong emphasis on agile practices and cross-functional leadership.

The role requires 12+ years in product/project management, 5+ years on Appian, and certification as an Appian Lead Developer, plus excellent communication skills with executives. Salary range $175,000–$190,000 USD per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years or commensurate experience.
• 5+ years experience delivering on Appian platform.
• Certified Appian Lead Developer
• Experience managing a product from requirements through release cycle.
• Strong executive communication and slide-deck skills.
• Proficient in Agile project management methodologies and practices.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira.
• Bachelor’s (preferably Master’s) with PMP/ITIL/SAFe certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full software development lifecycle for assigned product(s).
• Facilitate strategy and prioritization discussions.
• Transform high-level vision into detailed action plans.
• Build and maintain the product roadmap with aligned priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA and ops for quality delivery.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Ensure cross-functional communication to remove blockers and stay aligned.
• Partner with data teams to analyze usage and define KPIs.
• Foster agile best practices to improve velocity and execution.
• Coordinate with strategic partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
