Job summary

BOEVA Holdings Group in New York is seeking an Apparel Technical Designer to support product development from initial sample through bulk production. This role works closely with our merchandising team and overseas factory to ensure garments meet fit, construction, and quality requirements.

The position requires at least 3 years in apparel technical design or garment development, strong knowledge of garment construction, and proficiency in Illustrator and Excel.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of apparel technical design or garment development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, fit, and grading.
  • Experience with woven garments; knitwear experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Excel. Experience with PLM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate precise technical instructions to overseas production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain production-ready tech packs, including measurement specifications, grading, construction details, and bills of materials.
  • Measure samples, conduct fit reviews, and send clear fit and construction comments to the factory.
  • Track revisions and approvals for fit, PP, and TOP samples.
  • Identify potential production issues and work with the factory to resolve them.
  • Keep specifications and approved changes accurate through bulk production.
