Job summary

L.V. Enterprises in New York City is seeking a 3D Technical Designer for children’s apparel with strong fit, construction, and quality focus. This role involves partnering with Design, Production and vendors to translate concepts into well-constructed garments.

You will build detailed spec packages, measure samples for accuracy, and lead fit sessions, ensuring adherence to safety requirements and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical design experience in childrenswear.
• Experience with Browzwear or similar 3D apparel software.
• Strong sample measurement skills, grasp of points of measurement and tolerances.
• Solid knowledge of knit and woven construction, patternmaking and sewing terminology.

Responsibilities

• Resolve vendor questions on fit, specs, patterns, and construction to keep development moving.

3D Technical Designer – Children’s Apparel-multiple roles-- (Associate - Mid-Level)

Great style starts with a great fit. Join an established NYC wholesale manufacturer of branded and licensed children’s apparel, and help turn creative concepts into well-constructed garments. You’ll bring technical precision and a sharp eye for detail to a role spanning fit, construction, and quality, working closely with Design, Production, and vendors.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with Design and Production to define fit and construction standards that deliver consistent quality across brands.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of relevant technical design experience, including childrenswear.
• Experience with Browzwear or similar 3D apparel software.
• Strong sample measurement skills and an understanding of points of measurement, specifications, and tolerances.
• Solid knowledge of knit and woven construction, patternmaking, and sewing terminology.
• An understanding of garment manufacturing and the product development process.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; Illustrator skills are a plus.

Location: NYC · In office five days per week.
