Job summary

Intradeco Apparel, Inc. in Miami seeks a Technical Designer with full understanding of apparel-fashion industry, manufacturing, technical design and production. Must work with woven and knits tops and bottoms, and collaborate across TD, Design/Merchandising, and Product Development teams.

You will own the product category from development to final production, ensuring fit, quality and timely delivery. Proficiency in PLM (BC/FLEX) and Adobe Illustrator is required; bilingual Spanish/English is a

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in apparel-fashion, Technical Design and knowledge of Pattern making.
Full garment construction knowledge in knit and woven fabrics.
Proficient in Excel, Word, BC/FLEX PLM, Illustrator, Microsoft Office and Acrobat Pro.
Knowledge of 3D software.
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Partner with the TD, Design/Merchandising, and Product Development teams to build seasonal apparel assortments from development through final fit production approval.
Ensure that the design intent, fit relevancy, quality and timely delivery is upheld.
Protect the brand integrity and contracted style by delivering fit consistency and following construction standards for the product category.
Follow the fit block to ensure fit consistency, and collaborate with the TD Director and patternmaker to update the fit block as needed.
Own the assigned product category from development to final production.
Troubleshoot production issues related to garment development and constructions, creating a strong style foundation and technical packages.
Set priorities and manage deadlines for proto and production samples.
Attend and own fittings for assigned garment categories and provide fit comments based on fittings.
Liaison between all factories, production and sourcing teams to resolve issues daily.
Work with sample makers to provide needed information/tools to complete samples daily.
Meet and exceed deadlines from development to final production.
Own and maintain tracking chart from development to final production.
