Job summary

Brivo in Bethesda, MD seeks an API Support Specialist to help customers, partners, and developers integrate Brivo APIs with third‑party apps. You will guide activation and onboarding and troubleshoot REST API issues, using tools like Postman or cURL to inspect payloads and status codes.

You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues, manage support tickets end‑to‑end, and document common problems and solutions for the knowledge base, ensuring a positive integration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• 1–3 years in technical support, developer support, or professional services with REST APIs.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or cURL.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through API activation and onboarding to connect third‑party apps with Brivo.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API issues using Postman to inspect payloads and HTTP codes.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand requirements and recommend Brivo API capabilities.
• Manage API support tickets from intake to resolution within SLAs.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Tier‑3 teams to escalate complex bugs.
• Write and update internal knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.
