Job summary

Brivo and Eagle Eye Networks collaborate to deliver a cloud-first platform for API-based integrations. The API Support Specialist helps customers, partners, and developers connect third-party applications with Brivo, guiding API activation and onboarding while troubleshooting and coordinating with internal teams.

You will meet with customers to understand requirements, document issues, and ensure a positive experience when building and maintaining integrations with Brivo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in technical support, developer support, or professional services role working with REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or cURL.
• Strong working knowledge of REST, HTTP methods, headers, and status codes.
• Proficiency in reading, validating, and formatting JSON and XML payloads.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 or API keys and basic networking troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical support tickets within SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers, partners, and developers through the API activation and onboarding process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API issues using Postman/Insomnia/cURL.
• Conduct discovery meetings with partners to understand requirements and recommend Brivo API capabilities.
• Manage API support tickets from intake to resolution with clear communication.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Tier-3 teams to resolve complex bugs.
• Author and update internal knowledge base and troubleshooting guides.
