Job summary

Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care seeks experienced Direct Service Providers (DSPs) to support individuals in Apopka through APD iBudget Waiver. This in‑home and community‑based role offers 2+ years of paid DSP experience and APD familiarity, with flexible shifts and 1099 contracting.

Candidates must pass Level II background checks, complete APD DSP training, travel to client locations, and document services per waiver requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of paid experience as a Direct Service Provider.
• Prior experience delivering APD or iBudget Waiver services.
• Background screening Level II per Florida statutes.
• APD DSP training (initial and ongoing) completed.
• Ability to travel to client homes and community locations.
• Willingness to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and self-care.
• Support community participation and skill development.
• Provide supervision to ensure health and safety.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Document services in accordance with APD and iBudget Waiver requirements.
