Job summary

Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care in Kissimmee, FL is seeking experienced Direct Service Providers to support individuals with developmental disabilities through APD iBudget Waiver. This role emphasizes person-centered care, safety, and meaningful daily participation.

As a DSP, you will deliver in-home and community-based support, perform ADLs, assist with transportation, document services, and follow APD guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of paid experience as a Direct Service Provider.
• Prior APD or iBudget Waiver experience.
• Background screening Level II per Florida Statutes.
• APD DSP training completion.
• Willingness to travel to client homes and community locations.
• Willingness to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and self-care.
• Supporting community participation and skill development.
• Providing supervision to ensure health and safety.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Supporting behavioral and communication needs as outlined in support plans.
• Documenting services in accordance with APD and iBudget Waiver requirements.
