Job summary

Tipton Asset Group, Inc. is seeking a Make Ready Specialist to support day-to-day maintenance, complete apartment turns, and address resident service needs at our community.

You will perform basic repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and related tasks while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and customer-friendly service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year apartment maintenance, make-ready, or groundskeeping preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete routine maintenance and repair tasks.
• Must provide/use your own basic hand tools.
• Strong customer-service and professional communication with residents, vendors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns/make-readies, including repairs and cleaning.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely, courteous manner.
• Perform routine property and grounds upkeep, including trash removal and light landscaping.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to keep systems operating smoothly.
• Identify issues and communicate larger repairs to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Work as part of a team and support community needs.
