Job summary

The Tipton Group is seeking a Make Ready Technician to maintain the appearance and operation of our apartment community. You will support day-to-day maintenance, perform make-readies of vacant units, and assist with general upkeep to keep residents satisfied.

Responsibilities include on-call emergency support, grounds work, and a range of trades such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting. A professional demeanor with residents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least 1 year of make-ready/groundskeeper experience.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Must maintain professional and courteous demeanor with residents, visitors and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in turnovers/make-readies of vacant units.
• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Grounds work: trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Assist with maintenance: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative tasks.
