Job summary

Apartment Management Professionals (AMP) is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to prepare units for new residents. You will perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and housekeeping to ensure units and facilities are in top condition.

The role emphasizes timely turnovers, safety compliance, and excellent customer service, with responsibilities including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repairs, plus appliance installation and touch-up painting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with turnovers/make-readies in multifamily properties is preferred.
• Proficient in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete all maintenance service requests as assigned in a timely manner.
• Ensure apartment units are turned over efficiently and within established timelines.
• Follow make-ready and punch checklist to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Identify and address issues requiring repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances).
• Install and remove appliances, ceiling fans, light fixtures, and blinds.
• Perform touch-up painting on interior and exterior surfaces as required.
• Respond promptly to tenant requests with excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local laws including Fair Housing regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations
