Job summary

Greystar, a leading global real estate platform, seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant units meet quality standards and are turned quickly to market-ready condition. You will perform repairs, caulking, painting, and inspections following the community's make-ready checklist.

You will support grounds, safety, and responsive maintenance for residents, with flexibility for hours and occasional travel to other properties.

Responsibilities

• Completes all needed repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Ensures apartment homes have been properly caulked and sealed around windows, sink areas, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects all sheetrock for damage, and repairs and/or replaces as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting and expense control by fixing parts rather than replacing them when possible.
• Completes make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation in a timely manner.
• Complies with safety policies, attends safety meetings, and completes required training.
• Demonstrates customer service by addressing resident questions and handling maintenance requests efficiently.
