Job summary

S2 Residential is seeking a Make Ready technician to prep resident homes for move-in by inspecting and ensuring turn-by-turn readiness. You will coordinate with the grounds and maintenance teams to ensure appliances, A/C, and safety devices are working, while addressing any construction touch-ups and supply needs.

This role emphasizes outdoor work, reliable transportation, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach to maintaining a high standard for resident living.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license and auto liability insurance are required.
• Detail-oriented and observant mindset with good multi-tasking.
• Willingness to help and work as part of a team.
• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trash removal from apartments with grounds team.
• Inspect appliances, faucets, A/C, safety devices to ensure proper function.
• Inspect unit construction for chipped/missing paint, flooring, tile, etc.
• Identify parts, supplies, and items needed for timely unit turns.
• Perform routine maintenance: replace exterior bulbs, check irrigation, walk property for liabilities.
• Complete service requests by testing safety equipment, handling water/sewer extractions, replacing blinds and A/C filters.
• Change front door and mailbox locks before turning unit back to leasing team.
