Blue Roc Premier Family of Companies is seeking a Make Ready Technician to join our team in Houston. You will collaborate with leadership to prepare apartment units for occupancy, applying electrical, plumbing, and light construction skills to ensure high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities include drywall work, installation of interior items, light painting, and maintaining safety standards. HVAC certification and a valid driver’s license are required, with bilingual helping in a diverse

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an apartment community.
• Strong electrical experience and plumbing knowledge.
• Proficiency in light construction, including drywall installation/repair.
• Ability to install exterior fixtures/finishes.
• Experience installing interior items such as fans and blinds.
• Basic painting skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality results.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• HVAC certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Resident Service Director and team to prepare apartment units for occupancy.
• Utilize 1 year of apartment community experience to maintain and renovate units.
• Apply electrical and plumbing knowledge to address issues and perform repairs.
• Use light construction skills for drywall work and exterior fixtures/finishes installations.
• Install interior items like fans, blinds, and renovation items.
• Perform light painting to ensure a quality finish on units.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and supervisors to complete tasks.
