Job summary

BGSF, BG Staffing, is seeking a Make Ready Technician for an apartment community in Charlottesville, VA. The role focuses on preparing vacant units for new residents by completing repairs, cleaning, and ensuring quality standards.

You will support general maintenance and help maintain the property's appearance and functionality. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced in apartment turns and general maintenance, with strong customer service skills and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment make-readies or turnover projects.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, drywall.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment make-readies and unit turnovers efficiently and on schedule.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs including painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and minor flooring repairs.
• Ensure vacant units are clean, safe, and move-in ready.
• Replace fixtures, hardware, blinds, locks, and other unit components as needed.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and property upkeep.
• Maintain common areas and exterior property appearance.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and repairs.
• Work collaboratively with onsite staff, residents, and vendors.
