Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Make Ready to restore vacated apartments to market-ready status on a timely basis. The role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

You will inspect units, perform repairs, handle light carpentry and plumbing tasks, install back splashes, replacements, and assist with trash-outs. On-call hours and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of work safety habits.
• Ability to professionally represent the company.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work on call and extended hours.
• Attention to detail and meticulousness.
• Organize and prioritize work effectively.
• Social skills to interact with residents.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete a make-ready checklist.
• Inform Lead Maintenance and Community Manager of needed services and repairs.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Check and replace lights; inspect windows, doors, shelves, mirrors, and bases.
• Check appliances and report problems; assist with moving appliances.
• Make keys when necessary and check faucets; repair as needed.
• Install tile backsplash; replace washers; perform exterior repairs.
• Assist with painting duties and repair curtains or blinds.
• Repair plaster holes and paint; inspect bathroom tiles.
• Change A/C filters; operate carpet cleaning equipment.
• Assist with trash-out and relocation of items; other projects as directed.
