Job summary

Bryten is seeking a skilled Make-Ready Technician to prepare apartment homes for new residents at Sabino Vista in Tucson, AZ. The role requires hands-on maintenance, inspections, and coordination to ensure move-in readiness.

Responsibilities include drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC basics, with documentation in our property management system. You will work on-site, sometimes overtime, to support a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in apartment maintenance or related field.
• Experience with drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing or electrical work preferred.
• HVAC certification or related trade certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform apartment make-ready tasks to prepare homes for new residents.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance including drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical work.
• Follow make-ready checklists to meet standards and move-in readiness.
• Troubleshoot and repair fixtures, appliances, lighting, and systems as needed.
• Update work orders and status in property management systems.
• Assist with grounds upkeep and safety inspections as required.
