Bryten is seeking a skilled Make-Ready Technician to ensure Sabino Vista at Greenlight Communities in Tucson, AZ, is move-in ready. You will handle repairs, inspections, cleaning coordination, and vacancy preparation, while adhering to safety policies and quality standards.

The role requires experience in maintenance tasks such as drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair, with HVAC knowledge being a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or vocational training preferred.
• 1+ years of apartment maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment make-ready activities, including repairs, inspections, cleaning coordination, and prep of vacant homes for new residents.
• Perform general maintenance repairs such as drywall, painting, carpentry, appliance repair, and basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Follow make-ready checklists to ensure move-in readiness and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing fixtures, appliances, lighting, outlets, switches, and other systems.
• Replace air filters, clean HVAC vents, and ensure systems function prior to move-in.
• Maintain accurate work orders and update make-ready status in PM systems.
• Assist with community upkeep, grounds maintenance, trash removal, pressure washing, and curb appeal projects.
• Conduct inspections of vacant homes and identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Support maintenance team with service requests, preventive maintenance, and improvements.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Promote a safe, welcoming community environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
