Job summary

Live Bryten's Cabana Aldea community in Glendale, AZ is seeking a skilled, dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable living environment for residents. This on-site role focuses on repairs, preventative maintenance, and upkeep of the property.

You’ll diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and painting; perform make-readies for new residents; and assist with on-call maintenance.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting and general maintenance practices.
• HVAC certification preferred; additional industry certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance to keep the community in excellent condition.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting and other building systems.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (make-ready and turn processes).
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, amenities, and equipment.
• Assist with on-call emergency maintenance as required.
• Maintain records of work orders, inspections, inventory, and maintenance activities.
