Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance the community's integrity while delivering excellent customer service. You will work across apartments and common areas to keep the property safe and well-maintained, interacting daily with residents, guests, and team members.

You will handle make-readies, respond to service requests, maintain tools and inventory, and participate in safety programs and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications required.
• Valid driverss license and automobile insurance.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Able to read service requests and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to adhere to set schedules including weekends and emergencies.
• Able to travel within major metropolitan areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Participate in CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
