Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs
• On-call and weekend availability required
• EPA refrigerant certifications required

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards
• Finish the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections and scheduling vendors
• Access and obtain materials from the maintenance department, track inventory, and notify re-ordering needs
• Complete documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed
• Support cost-control by fixing parts instead of replacing when feasible and using tools correctly
• Attend safety meetings and training; monitor contractor work for quality and compliance
• Assist with periodic property inspections to identify safety concerns and report to management
