Job summary

Stonemark in Louisville, KY is seeking a Service Technician to assist the Service Supervisor in preserving and maintaining community facilities and grounds. Responsibilities include prompt resident service, timely repairs, and completing preventive maintenance while handling on-call duties as needed.

The role requires basic education or two years of related experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or two years related experience at an apartment community and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be results oriented and self-starter. Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Must be mechanically inclined with knowledge of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, constructional and electrical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides service to residents in a prompt and professional manner.
• Provides repair work on vacant apartments in a timely fashion.
• Assists Service Supervisor in completing projects.
• Completes service requests in a timely manner.
• Completes preventive maintenance checklist.
• Performs on-call duty for emergency or when assigned.
• Responsible for interior painting of buildings and amenities.
