Job summary

Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Alexandria, VA for Brent Place. The role focuses on general apartment maintenance, repairs, and turnovers.

The technician will participate in after-hours on-call rotations and report to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Qualifications include 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience; appliance, drywall, plumbing, and painting skills; and a preference for HVAC/CFC certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Experience with appliance repairs, drywall, and painting.
• HVAC/CFC certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Willing to work weekends and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general apartment systems and fixtures.
• Handle routine maintenance tickets and repairs.
• Assist with unit turnovers and maintenance tasks.
• Be part of the after-hours on-call rotation.
• Report to Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
