Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is hiring an entry-level Apartment Maintenance Technician for 805 Riverfront Apartments in West Sacramento, CA. You will handle basic repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and grounds under supervision.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and work evenings and weekends. This is an on-call role with after-hours emergencies; a valid driver's license is required, EPA Type II or Universal and CPO certifications are a plus. Generous benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers and interpret safety manuals.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods and climb stairs/ladders.
• Must work evenings and weekends, and be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification a plus; CPO certification a plus.
• Valid Driver's License required for property access and service calls.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and grounds maintenance.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies under supervision of Service Manager.
• Communicate with residents and document maintenance work.
• Coordinate with management on scheduling and prioritization.
