Job summary

Morguard is seeking a Service Technician in Pensacola, FL to perform on‑site maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems. You will handle resident service requests, complete make‑ready tasks for vacant apartments, and help maintain curb appeal and safety across the community.

The role requires at least 2 years of residential maintenance experience, EPA Universal certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of residential maintenance experience
• Basic to moderate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs and general maintenance skills
• EPA Universal is required
• Valid driver’s license is required

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs per safety standards and codes
• Make‑ready vacant apartments by performing pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting completed work
• Access and track materials from the maintenance department, return unused items, and notify supervisor when re‑ordering is needed
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and amenity maintenance by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage
• Support cost‑control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and following proper tool usage
• Participate in quarterly Preventative Maintenance program
• Rotate to cover after‑hours emergency on‑call shifts as required
