Job summary
Morguard is seeking a Service Technician to perform hands-on maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, flooring, carpentry and appliances at our residential communities. You will diagnose issues, repair systems, and respond to resident service requests to keep properties market-ready.
The role requires at least 2 years of residential maintenance experience, EPA Universal certification, and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of residential maintenance experience.
- Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs and general maintenance skills.
- EPA Universal is required.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
Responsibilities
- Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
- Completes make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and punch lists.
- Tracks materials, supplies, and tools; coordinates re-ordering with maintenance lead.
- Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
- Fixes parts when possible to support cost control and reduce waste.
- Participates in quarterly preventative maintenance programs.
- Supports after-hours emergency on-call schedule as needed.
