Job summary

Consolidated Asset Management seeks an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Mesa, AZ to perform maintenance and repair duties across the apartment community. Responsibilities include handling service requests, preparing units for new residents, and ensuring plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other systems operate properly.

Full-time role with on-site work; candidates should have basic maintenance skills, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Diagnoses and repair issues in apartment units and common areas: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Assist in apartment make-readies including cleaning, repairs, and painting.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the property and maintenance areas.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools; notify supervisor of needs.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Assist with snow removal, pool maintenance, and seasonal tasks as needed.
