Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our operations team in Phoenix, AZ. You will support the upkeep of property buildings and grounds, ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient maintenance services to residents and staff.

You will perform preventative and on-demand repairs, manage tools and inventory, respond to urgent requests, and maintain a professional appearance while adhering to OSHA standards. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of the property and preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and property uniform.
• Be available for on-call maintenance and 24-hour response to service requests.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and 24-hour service responses.
