Job summary

The Yarco Companies in North Kansas City, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager across our residential properties. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and make-ready tasks to ensure safe, clean, and market-ready apartment homes and common areas.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of residential property maintenance experience, and a focus on safety, quality, and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pool certification preferred; HVAC certification if appropriate.
• One year maintenance experience in residential property.
• Background check, drug screen, and physical demand analysis will be required.

Responsibilities

• Property appearance and grounds upkeep; inspect daily.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Make ready units to market-ready condition; some painting.
• Maintain laundry rooms per company guidelines.
• Pool maintenance as applicable; ensure city code compliance.
• Support on-call emergencies as requested by Community Manager.
• Perform other duties as needed.
