Qualifications

• 1+ years maintenance experience required.
• 1+ years painting and drywall repairs preferred.
• Solid mechanical aptitude required.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and climb stairs.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy including painting, drywall repair, trash out, and basic repairs.
• Perform basic system repairs on electrical, plumbing, hot water heaters, HVAC systems, appliances.
• Carpentry, drywall repairs and interior/exterior painting as needed.
• Distinguish when full-paint vs. touch-up is needed and select correct paint sheen.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks and respond to service requests.
• Keep logs and monitor pools, chemical balance where applicable.
• Daily grounds maintenance and snow removal where applicable.
• Support property improvements and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Be able to work at multiple properties and in on-call rotation.
