Job summary

Goodman Real Estate in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC systems across our communities. The role includes preparing apartments, responding to service requests, and ensuring a safe, clean work area.

You will work with residents, vendors, and coworkers, maintain tools and inventory, and follow emergency procedures. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are preferred; prior apartment maintenance experience

Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma.
Experience in apartment maintenance or related field preferred.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of apartments for occupancy.
Respond to service requests as needed.
Performs maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, as well as small and large appliances in emergencies only.
Maintains pools and HVAC systems depending on the community amenities.
Modest carpentry work as needed.
Interior and exterior painting as needed.
Demonstrates excellent customer service with tenants, vendors, and co-workers; addresses concerns and maintenance needs in a friendly and professional manner.
Assists in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
