Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate seeks a Maintenance Technician to uphold the value and safety of our apartment communities. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and assist with turn events, working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to meet budget and quality standards.

Live within 30 miles of the property; you’ll troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, with on-call rotation and weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in apartment industry.
• EPA Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property.
• Reliable transportation and rotating on-call schedule.
• Varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and all systems.
• Other licenses and certifications as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are completed thoroughly and promptly.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Maintain organized, clean and safe work area; follow personnel policies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule.
• Communicate effectively with residents, teammates, vendors and supervisors.
• Adhere to budget guidelines and effective preventive maintenance programs.
