Fogelman Properties is seeking an Experienced Certified Maintenance Technician for Autumn Park Apartments in the Charlotte area. The role involves completing service requests and repairs, ensuring well‑maintained communities, and collaborating with a supportive team.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and strong plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair skills. A valid driver’s license is required; weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Three years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal) required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Proficient in computers and online applications.
• Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready units.
• Maintain inventories and care of all tools and equipment.
• Supply personal tools where required.
• Clean work area, tools and equipment.
• Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Follow safety policies at all times.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all company policies including Fair Housing.
