Job summary

Fogelman is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance requests and repairs for apartment communities, ensuring safety and excellent resident service. Responsibilities include completing service work, making ready units, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Three years of apartment maintenance experience is preferred; HVAC certification and CPO are advantageous. Candidates should be adept with property software (Yardi/Entrata/HappyCo) and may need a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal) preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
• Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
• Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and repairs as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Complete make-ready units and maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
• Greet residents professionally and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow safety policies and participate in on-call rotations and emergency responses.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Service Director and coordinate with vendors as needed.
