Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a bustling apartment community in Merced, CA. You’ll perform a broad range of repairs and preventative maintenance, prioritize resident service, and help keep grounds and common areas in top condition.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of maintenance experience in multifamily housing, EPA Type I/II preferred, and live within 30 miles of the property with reliable transportation. Weekends/holidays on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in apartments.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property.
• Must have reliable transportation and be available for on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks to maintain and enhance community value.
• Assist with preventive maintenance schedules.
• Address resident requests and maintain high service standards.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to minimize liabilities and ensure safety.
• Operate within budget and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and logs for maintenance activities.
