Job summary

Olympus Property is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Midland, TX to support the service team and property facilities. You will perform repairs, conduct preventive maintenance, and assist with appliance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks to meet standards.

The role requires 1+ year apartment maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge or EPA/HVAC license, and the ability to work an on-call schedule, with a valid driver’s license and physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance experience.
HVAC knowledge and/or EPA/HVAC license.
Basic plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry skills.
Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units; replace filters and clean coils.
Repair and replace kitchen appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, ovens, microwaves).
Conduct minor to moderate plumbing repairs and installations.
Repair or replace sinks, showers, toilets, and fixtures.
Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches.
Handle lock changes and door hardware installation.
Use hand tools and power tools; keep shop organized.
Track service requests and maintenance work in software.
Assist with grounds, interior and exterior common areas, and pools.
