LR Management is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Michigan. The role requires reliable, hard‑working candidates with apartment maintenance experience and the ability to work on a team with a positive, self-motivated attitude.

The successful candidate will perform general upkeep including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry while engaging residents and maintaining common areas. The position offers a competitive compensation package with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Applicants must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and the ability to be on-call.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conducting move in/move out inspections.
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts.
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized.
• Maintaining the property’s indoor common areas.
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including trash pickup and snow removal.
• Adhering to policies related to fair housing.
