LR Management Services is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Michigan team. Responsibilities include general apartment maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks to ensure high-quality living spaces for residents.

The role requires hands-on experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is required and a flexible schedule including weekends and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repair and improve vacant and occupied apartments.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Execute carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to reduce repairs.
• Conduct move in/move out inspections.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools.
• Keep service shop clean and organized.
• Assist in maintaining indoor common areas.
• Maintain grounds and building exteriors, including snow removal.
• Adhere to fair housing policies.

LR Management is looking for a dependable and hard-working individual with previous apartment maintenance experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude along with being self-motivated and self-directed. Our maintenance staff are key members of our property team who interact with our residents as they carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance which includes HVAC repair, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner
• Accomplishing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks
• Conducting move in/move out inspections
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized
• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property’s indoor common areas
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including, but not limited, to trash pickup and snow removal
• Adhering to established policies related to fair housing

Qualifications Include, But Are Not Limited To

• 1-3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience
• A valid driver’s license
• Applicants must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and the ability to be on-call.
