Job summary

LR Management Services in Michigan is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician with apartment maintenance experience to join our team. You will perform general repairs and preventative maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry, while interacting with residents.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and weekend/on-call flexibility. A high school diploma or GED is required, with solid benefits, PTO, and career growth

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call shifts.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Carrying out carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conducting move in/move out inspections.
• Maintaining inventory for required parts.
• Keeping the service shop clean and organized.
• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of indoor common areas.
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including trash removal and snow removal.
• Adhering to fair housing policies.
