Job summary

LR Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Michigan team. You will perform general maintenance across apartments, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry, to support both occupied and vacant units.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work weekends and be on-call. A high school diploma or GED is required, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• A valid driver’s license.
• Applicants must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Accomplishing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conducting move in/move out inspections.
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts.
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized.
• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property’s indoor common areas.
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including, but not limited, to trash pickup and snow removal.
• Adhering to established policies related to fair housing.
