Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance community integrity while delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC knowledge, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

You will make-ready apartments, perform service requests, and participate in preventative maintenance across residential communities. This on-site position offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience in apartment maintenance or related trade with basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications (required).
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance (required).
• Own a basic set of hand tools (required).
• Ability to read service requests and communicate in English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Participate in CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
