Job summary

Olympus Property Gainesville is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our service team. You will handle repairs, preventative maintenance, HVAC care and appliance servicing to keep apartments and facilities in top shape.

Full-time, Monday–Friday 9 AM–6 PM with on-call emergencies. We offer tuition reimbursement, 401(k) matching, disability, life insurance, PTO and opportunities for growth across our nationwide communities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial/residential/apartment maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems; EPA/HVAC license preferred.
• Ability to perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, etc.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters, and cleaning coils
• Repair and replace furnished kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers, ovens, and microwaves
• Minor to moderate-level plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation
• Repair or replace sink/shower/toilet fixtures
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches
• Lock changes, lockouts, and replace doors, doorknobs, and lock systems
• Operate various equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Track service requests and maintenance work performed through software systems
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, interior and exterior common areas, and pools
• Work closely with Lead Maintenance Technician on daily and weekly priorities
• Available for emergency maintenance requests
