Job summary

Reside Living in Chicago is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain the physical integrity of our West Loop properties. You will support the Building Engineer, address resident requests, and coordinate with vendors to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained communities.

The role requires 2–5 years of maintenance experience, EPA certification or intent to obtain within 90 days, and strong safety and computer skills. A flexible schedule and on-call availability are essential.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of maintenance technician experience in apartment communities or similar settings.
• EPA certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office tools; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and rectify building and unit issues as directed by Building Engineer.
• Coordinate access/repairs with third-party vendors.
• Perform exterior property maintenance and seasonal tasks (e.g., snow removal).
• Complete resident service requests within SLAs and respond to after-hours calls when scheduled.
• Assist in custodial work and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Schedule preventive maintenance (HVAC filters, sewer lines) and aid in project participation.
