Job summary
Marquette Management Inc. in St. Charles, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep apartments and common areas clean and well maintained.
You will perform basic repairs, assist with turnover, and respond to maintenance requests to enhance resident comfort and safety. The ideal candidate has prior maintenance experience, preferably in apartments or hotels, with skills in plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC; EPA certification is a plus.
Qualifications
- Maintenance experience required, preferably in apartment or hotel settings.
- Must have experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and apartment turns.
- HVAC certification or EPA Universal certification is a plus; on-call and weekend work may be required.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs to apartments and common areas.
- Prepare vacant apartments for turnover.
- Snow and trash removal; perform emergency repairs as needed.
- Clean, landscape, and order maintenance equipment and supplies.
- Record keeping, accepting deliveries, moving appliances and other duties as required.
