Job summary

AIR Communities in Orlando, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support resident needs and keep units ready for move-in. You will use industry-leading technology and a fully stocked shop to resolve maintenance requests and perform turns at Amara Metrowest.

You will troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues, provide guidance to fellow technicians, and work with vendors as needed. A strong work ethic and resident-focused service are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in facilities or building environments.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Reliable transportation for emergency service requests.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and support team members.
• Complete basic apartment turns to ready units for move-in.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot/repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• May train or guide other maintenance technicians.
• Assist with vendor quality and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Adapt tasks to community needs and seasonality.
