Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for Preston Oaks Apartments in Louisville, KY. The role involves interior and exterior upkeep, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC to keep the property safe and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in general property maintenance.
• Experience with drywall, painting, and basic carpentry.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and water heaters.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property buildings, grounds, and common areas; perform interior and exterior maintenance.
• Complete general carpentry, drywall, painting and staining as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC and water heaters.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and provide professional resident service.
• Participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call rotation approximately every 3–4 weeks.

Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Preston Oaks Apartments in Louisville, KY. We offer $20.00–$25.00 per hour, quarterly maintenance bonuses of up to $750, full benefits, tool reimbursement, paid time off, and ongoing training and advancement opportunities.

• Competitive pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
• Yearly raises of up to 5%

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
