Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for Preston Oaks Apartments in Louisville, KY. Earn $20–$25 per hour with quarterly bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including 401k with company match, health insurance, and training reimbursements.

The role covers preventive and reactive maintenance, unit turnovers, and on-call coverage in a 24/7 environment. Pre-employment screenings apply and equal opportunity employment is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience.
• Drywalling, painting and carpentry experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Some HVAC and water heater knowledge.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turning Units between tenants; painting and staining interior and exterior surfaces.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Manage coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone rotation every 3–4 weeks.

Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our winning team at the Preston Oaks Apartments in Louisville, KY. We are offering $20- to $25 per hour plus $750 quarterly bonuses, full benefits, tool reimbursement, and 2 weeks paid time off.

Essential Job Duties and/or oversight Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

• 2+years’ experience in general maintenance
• Dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
• Basic knowledge of electrical, and plumbing
• Some knowledge of HVAC and water heaters
• Have good verbal and written communication
• Problem solving skills
• Be able to provide great customer service to our residents

This role requires pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check, drug screening, and a valid Drivers License.
