Job summary

Odin Properties LLC. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for our multifamily community. The role focuses on organizing, prioritizing, and completing resident work orders and turnovers, while applying HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of maintenance experience, EPA Type 2 certification is a plus, and a positive, neat, team-oriented attitude. On-call rotations and coordination with the Property Manager on parts purchases are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in maintenance.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills preferred.
• EPA Type 2 certification a plus.
• Reliable, neat, and able to work on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and turnovers efficiently.
• Maintain count of outstanding work orders and report daily to the Property Manager.
• Keep maintenance areas neat and clean.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager on purchasing parts/materials as needed.
• Work on-call rotations for maintenance emergencies.

About this position

Description: Real Estate Development and Property Management company is seeking a talented, reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician for our multifamily apartment community. The main function of the Apartment Maintenance Technician is to organize, prioritize, and complete resident work orders and turnovers. The ideal candidate will have prior apartment maintenance experience and well-rounded skills such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Requirements

• Ensure work orders/turnovers are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a count of outstanding work orders and report to the Property Manager daily.
• Keep the maintenance area neat and clean.
• Work on call rotations for maintenance emergencies.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager on purchasing parts/material as needed.

Essential Skills/Abilities

• Type 2 EPA certification a plus.
• Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry experience.
• Ability to support and contribute to the team.
• Positive attitude.
• Two (2) years’ experience in previous relevant maintenance field.
• Neat, clean, and professional.
• Attendance is an imperative job function.
